Pacific Dunes Riding Ranch
Just south of Pismo Beach in Oceano, guided rides wind through coastal scrub and over the Oceano Dunes Preserve before heading out onto the beach. Rides last about an hour and are open to riders ages 7 and up.

Guided rides on the historic 14,000-acre Santa Margarita Ranch, through oak woodland and past vineyard views, about 40 minutes north of Pismo Beach. Rides run daily by appointment for small groups.
To book, call or text (805) 610-1306 with your name, the date or dates you would like, your group size, and each rider’s age, weight and experience level. Allow 48 hours for a reply, especially from April to September, the busiest season for trail rides.
Madonna Inn Trail Rides
One-hour guided rides on the hills above the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo, about 15 minutes north of Pismo Beach, for riders ages 7 and up. Helmets are provided, and reservations are required.
